Code Of Conduct.

These rules apply to anyone that plays on VOWS servers regardless of whether they have [VOWS] tags or not

Vows runs a tactical gaming server. You must work as a team and follow all the rules when on this server. Failing to follow the rules may result in your being kicked or banned from our servers (including Teamspeak and Website)

Admins do not have to open slots for none VOWS members. The server should be set no higher then 6 players with public players on. It may however be set higher if VOWS Members are on to keep the server play tactical.

Remember all server activity is logged.

[VOWS] Code of Conduct

1. I understand that I am responsible for knowing and obeying the contents of this code during clan communications and while playing on the VOWS Server.


2. I will not utilize ANY cheats, exploits to gain an unfair advantage over my opponents.


3. I will not discriminate anyone due to age, sex, religion or other personal preferences.


4. I will respect EVERY member within the clan and public, as well as remain as diplomatic as possible when on the vows server or website.


5. I understand that recruiting is reserved for authorized personnel only, and will not recruit unless authorization is given to me.


6. I will not engage in any verbal or text battles with any member of the clan or public player on the forums or in Teamspeak. Furthermore, I understand that if a problem exists, that I am to report directly to EL1 or Desrat.


7. I will respect other members gaming choices and will not joke about them.


8. I will not represent the clan (unless asked to) in communications with any other clan or member of the public.


9. When I am finished for the night, I will tell people I am leaving, if I get booted, I will make the best effort to sign back in and let people know I am leaving.
   
   
10. I understand that [VOWS] has a "no tolerance" policy when it comes to breaking ANY of these rules, and that I will kicked from the clan for breaking them. No second chances.


11. I will listen to orders and follow them to the best of my ability during game play.


12. I will not form little groups and will try my best to communicate with all members.


13. I understand that this code is subject to change and it is my responsibility to check for updates and know its contents.
    
    
14. I will not tell people to leave for not knowing the vows tactics. I will explain them to people and not tell them to leave and read the manual


15. I will not undertake any modding/development projects in the name of VOWS or for other people or the community in a capacity that could reflect on VOWS without discussing first with a senior clan member such as EL1.


16. I will not discuss ANY content, operations, plans, tactics or any other form of proprietary information with anyone outside the clan.
    
    
17. I understand that should I be kicked out of the clan, I am to remove my tags immediately and still adhere to rule number 8.
    
    
18. I will try my best to attend any weekly meetings or clan events. Furthermore, I understand that my participation does not affect my membership to the clan. I do promise to participate as much as possible.
    
    
19. I will try my very BEST every game I play wearing the [VOWS] tag.
    
    
20. I am part of the greatest clan ever assembled and I pledge to maintain its reputable name and standards.
    
    
    Voting Rules

Players and members that voting to kick/ban is not acceptable for any of the following reasons...
-- Not Readying up. (we have a timer for a reason and do not rush people)
-- Taking the wrong weapons if they are new. (Explain to them the rules and see if they get it right next time)
-- for team killing by mistake. (everyone shots there own team now and again. Mistakes Happen)
-- If a player says they do not know vows rules (explain them the rules. we need new players. everyone had to learn at some point)

Also you must not vote for a new map for the following reasons...
-- You have just joined and want to play.
-- You have been killed and others are still playing (wait for the game to end)
-- If you know other players on the server have not got the map you are voting for (make sure everyone has the map before voting)

Anyone seen to be breaking the above rules will result in being kicked/banned from the server.
